Linda Luman Koenig, 70, Tenaha, Texas, passed away on Tuesday afternoon, December 15, 2020, in Tyler, Texas. She was born on December 6, 1950, in Commerce, Texas. Linda was preceded in death by her mother, Edith Marriott Luman Zellers; father, Loyal D. "L. D." Luman; sister-in-law, Janet Sue Holbrook; and niece, Amy Holbrook.

She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Lester Koenig. Lester and Linda have lived in the East Texas town of Tenaha, within ten miles of Louisiana, for the past 17 years. They raised two of their three granddaughters and both were the joy of their lives. Linda is also survived by granddaughters, Ashly Kidd of Waseca, Minnesota,  Jessica Lynn Nicole Balint of Longview, Texas, and Makayla Cedillo of Garland, Texas; great granddaughters, Alayna Rawson,  Brittany Kidd, and Hailey Smith of Waseca, Minnesota and Ashlynn Balint of Longview, Texas; brother, Henry Luman of Sachse Texas; and sister-in-law, Barbara Koenig Abbott and their families.

A visitation will be held from 4-6 p.m. on Friday, December 18, 2020, at Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home.
