Lillian B. Osborne, 80, of Carthage, TX, passed away on Tuesday night, May 18, 2021, in Longview, TX. Lillian Catherine Brown was born on Jan. 12, 1941, in Panola County, TX to the late Curtis Brown and Luella Gray and was reared in the Holland's Quarter Community. At an early age, she accepted Christ and united with Pine Grove Baptist Church where she served faithfully and was a contributing member of the church until her failing health. She graduated from Turner High School with the class of 1960. Lillian married Lovis C. "Cigarette" Osborne and he preceded her in death on April 13, 2002. Mrs. Osborne worked for many years at Carthage Cup and later at John & Helen's Cleaners. She loved the Carthage Bulldogs and the Dallas Cowboys. In addition to her parents and her husband, Mrs. Osborne was also preceded in death by brothers, Alfonzo and Charles Brown.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Malcolm Osborne (Premedia) of Killeen, Anna Hall (Jimmy) of Carthage, Cathy Lister (Paul) of Carthage, and Jimmy Wallace (Ruby) of Longview; 8 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild. Numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many friends also survive Mrs. Osborne.

A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, May 22, 2021, at Pine Grove Baptist Church with Bishop Hubert Owens officiating under the direction of Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Holland Quarters Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers are D Keldrick Allison, Lee Osborne, Jr., Calvin Wilcots, Byron Roberts, James Ware, and Kiffany Hodge.

Honorary pallbearers are Lonterio Osborne, Brandon Strong, Jeremy Strong, DeBraden Osborne, Alex Lister, Sheldon Strong, Malicah Hall, Lovis Hall, Alfred Brown, Tony Brown, Christian Osborne, Brannon Strong, Brandon Strong, Jr., and Charles Hodge.
