Lesley Sadler, 53, of Carthage, TX, passed away on Monday evening, May 10, 2021, at her home near Carthage. She was born on Nov. 26, 1967, in Christiansted, St. Croix, Virgin Islands to James Drew "Jim" and Glenda Ann Peavy Christy. She graduated from East High School in Cheyenne, WY with the class of 1986. Lesley married Farrell Dwain Sadler on Oct. 3, 1987, in Carthage. She worked for many years at Ken Turner Pharmacy in Carthage. She was a loving homemaker and grandmother. Lesley was preceded in death by her father; step-father, Bill Walker; and father-in-law, Roger Sadler.

She is survived by her husband, Farrell Sadler of Carthage; mother, Glenda Walker of Carthage; daughter, Casey Price and husband Brad of Carthage; grandchildren, Alayna and Sadie Jo Price; mother-in-law, Sandra Sadler of Carthage; sister-in-law, Debra Anderson and husband Joey of Carthage;  brother-in-law, Steven Sadler and wife Lacy of Carthage; aunt, Kay Haney of Carthage; uncle, Rayford Peavy and wife Loretta of Tatum; great-aunt, Mrs. Charlie Peavy of Beckville; great-uncle, Boyce Eldridge; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and many friends.

The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Texas Home Health Hospice and Jerry Neel for the loving care provided to Lesley.

A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, May 13, 2021, at Martin Cemetery with Thomas Monroe officiating under the direction of Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 9-10 a.m. on Thursday at the funeral home prior to the graveside service.

Pallbearers are Joey Anderson, Sam Anderson, Steven Sadler, Robert Monroe, Nelson Monroe and Brian Monroe.
