Lenzo Tucker, 81, of Jefferson, Texas, passed away on Tuesday morning, November 22, 2022, in Marshall, Texas. He was born on September 10, 1941, in Harrison County, Texas to the late Lorenza Tucker and Katherine Long. Lenzo attended Pemberton School in Marshall. He worked as a truck driver until his retirement. Lenzo married Lillie Louise Harris on Feb. 16, 1980, and she preceded him in death on July 22, 2021, after 41 years together. He was a member of New Bethel Baptist Church in Marshall.

He is survived by his children, Alesia Godwin (Mikel), Michael Tucker (Charmaine), Sundra Tucker, Kimberly Jackson (Terrance), Lenzo Tucker (Andrea), Sonya Tillman, Vincent Tucker, and Alvin Davis; brothers, Larry Tucker (Marsha), Ray Tucker (Cheyenne), Charles Alexander (Sherrye), and Thomas Alexander (Francine); sister, Patricia Alexander; 10 grandchildren; and 5 great-grandchildren. Numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many friends also survive.

A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, November 30, 2022, at Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home Chapel with Jacquie McIver officiating. Interment will follow in Liberty Cemetery, Marshall, Texas. The family will receive friends from 6-7 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home.
