Larry Weaver, 84, of Beckville, TX, passed away on Saturday afternoon, Jan. 18, 2020, at his home in Beckville. Larry Ambrous Weaver was born on May 22, 1935, in Beckville to the late Clifford and Inez Porter Weaver. He graduated from Beckville High School with the class of 1954. Mr. Weaver married Melba Louise Barton on Dec. 25, 1970, and she preceded him in death on Nov. 30, 1999. Larry enjoyed being outdoors especially any kind of hunting. He enjoyed a good joke and loved having fun with his family and friends. Mr. Weaver worked for TXDOT for many years and later for Panola County Road and Bridge. He was of the Baptist faith. Mr. Weaver was preceded in death by his parents; wife; and brothers, Hershel and Phillip Weaver; and step-son, Jimmy Brooks.

Survivors include his daughters, Ann Harris and husband Kim and JoNell Harris and husband Brad all of Beckville; sisters, June Nutt and husband Dr. Andrew Nutt and Jane Cammack and husband Charles all of Beckville; granddaughters, Alyssa and Avery Harris of Beckville; and grandsons, Brett Harris and wife Jordan of Kansas and Blake Harris of Beckville.

A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 21, 2020, at Pierce Cemetery with Bro. Gary Chambers officiating under the direction of Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home.
