Larry McDermott, 77, of Carthage, TX, passed away on Thursday afternoon, Oct. 29, 2020, in Tyler, TX. Wallace Larry McDermott was born on Feb. 3, 1943, in Independence, MO to the late Wallace Clayton and Juanita Louise Curtis McDermott. He served in the U.S. Air Force, where he worked as a mechanic and was honorably discharged. Larry was later employed at Zimmerman Sign Co. in Longview, TX for many years. He was a jack of all trades. He enjoyed going on cruises and attending air shows.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home.
