Larry Dean Donald, Jr., "Bubba" age 40, of DeBerry, Texas, passed away Sunday morning, June 1, 2025, in Shreveport, Louisiana, due to injuries he sustained from an automobile accident in Bethany, Louisiana. Bubba was born on May 15, 1985, in Longview, Texas to Larry Dean Donald, Sr. and Deborah Gail Shields Donald. He graduated from Carthage High School with the class of 2004. Bubba loved fishing, hunting and spending time with his daughters. He worked in salt water disposal in the oilfield industry for Stallion Oilfield Services. Bubba was of the Baptist faith and was a member of Walnut Springs Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his father, Larry Dean Donald, Sr.; grandmother, Emma Corley; brother-in-law, James Hicks; and uncle, Curtis Donald.

Survivors include his mother, Deborah Donald; daughters, Brooklynn Donald and Jemma Donald; siblings, Casey Griffith and husband Bill and Stephanie Hicks; and aunt, Letha Vaughan and husband Keith. Numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends also survive.

A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, June 6, 2025, at the Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home chapel with Bro. Buddy Briggs officiating. Interment will follow in Antioch Cemetery. A time of visitation will be from 9-10 a.m. at the funeral home prior to the funeral service.

Pallbearers are Stephanie Hicks, Jason Townsend, Shawn Bundy, Micah Linzay, Steven Vaughan, and J. C. Hudson.

Honorary pallbearer is Kolton Hicks.
