Kneelon J. Puffer, III, 72, of Carthage, TX formerly of Florida, passed away on Tuesday morning, April 30, 2019, in Carthage. He was born on Feb. 21, 1947, in Lansing, Michigan to the late Kneelon J. Puffer, II and Jean Marie Forstner Puffer. Mr. Puffer married Charlotte Ann Parrott and she preceded him in death on November 7, 2009. He served in the U.S. Navy and worked as a computer machinist. Mr. Puffer was also preceded in death by a son, Michael Puffer.

Survivors include his daughter, Jessica Puffer of Carthage; son, Clayton Lee Puffer and wife Katy of Tyler; step-son, Richard "Chip" Reid Pike of Peru; sisters, Karen Sprecher and husband Raymond of East Lansing, MI and Jan Puffer and husband Peter of Minneapolis, MN; daughter-in-law, Eva Puffer of Palm Bay, FL; and grandchildren, Dylan, Austin, Makayla, McKenzie, Presleigh, Averie, Londyn, Skylar, and Mikey.

Cremation arrangements are by Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home.
