A funeral service for Mr. Kevin Landreneaux, 41, of Carthage, will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 5, 2015, at Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Mark Williamson and Bro. Toby Tipps officiating. Interment will follow in Gary Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home. Mr. Landreneaux passed away on Tuesday, Sept. 1, 2015, in Carthage.

Kevin Dale Landreneaux was born on Jan. 25, 1974, in Carthage to Johnny Dale and Betty Jane Hall Landreneaux. He graduated from Gary High School with the class of 1993. Kevin married Michelle Dawn Kennedy on Sept. 19, 1992, in Carthage. He worked as a project manager for Showcase Systems in Carthage. He loved everything about the outdoors including fishing, hunting and camping. Kevin was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Doris Williams and his paternal grandparents, Hazel and Joe Landreneaux.

Mr. Landreneaux is survived by his wife, Michelle of Carthage; parents, Johnny and Betty Landreneaux of Carthage; maternal grandfather, James Elton Williams of Beckville; son, Brian Landreneaux; daughter, Faith Landreneaux; brother, Eddie Landreneaux; sister, Joni Landreneaux; nephews, Jacob, Johnathan, and Jantzen Landreneaux; and special friends, Gavin Williamson and Alyssa Thornton all of Carthage. Numerous uncles, aunts, cousins, other relatives and many friends also survive Mr. Landreneaux.

Pallbearers are Phillip Baker, Troy Mathis, Travis Matlock, Ricky Matlock, Aaron Ross, Scotty Baker, Jared Veazey, and David Landreneaux.

Honorary pallbearers are Barney Stokes, Joe Teer, and Randall Rodgers.
