Timothy Kevin Elkins, 52, of Carthage, Texas passed away January 5, 2022 in Carthage. Kevin was born October 28, 1969 in Pasadena, Texas to Wesley Clayton and Paula Newell Elkins. He was raised in Pasadena and graduated from Sam Rayburn High School and later attended San Jacinto Jr. College. Kevin married Carolyn Marie Hudson on January 1, 2000 and together they celebrated 22 years. He worked for many years in oilfield equipment sales and owned and operated TK Tools and Equipment. Kevin served his country through the United States Army, attended Atascocita Community Church and loved to gunsmith, hunt and fish. He is preceded in death by his father.

Survivors include his mother, Paula Elkins of Pasadena; loving wife, Carolyn Elkins of Carthage; sons, Austin Ryan Elkins and Tyler Chase Elkins both of Carthage and Noble Stone and wife Katy of Oklahoma; brothers, Keith Elkins and wife Jennifer of Pasadena, Larry Faulkner of San Antonio; sister, Jennifer Faulkner of San Antonio; numerous other relatives and a host of friends.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, January 8, 2022 at the Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Jerry Phillips officiating. Visitation will be from 6-8:00 pm on Friday at the funeral home. Interment will follow the service in the Antioch Cemetery in Panola County.

Pallbearers are Michael Hudson, Keith Elkins, Josh Hudson, James R. Jackson, Larry A. Oliver, Dillon Ebarb, Jared Veazey, and Chris Hudson.
