Funeral services for Mr. Kenneth Wayne Jeter, age 55 of the Holland Quarters Community of Panola County, Texas, will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, August 4, 2008 at Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Jerry Jeter officiating. Interment will follow in Holland Quarters Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home. Mr. Jeter passed away on Wednesday night, July 30, 2008 at his home in Holland Quarters.

Kenneth Wayne Jeter was born on May 17, 1953 in Carthage, Texas to Herman and Lorene Allison Jeter. Mr. Jeter graduated from Turner High School with the class of 1971 and attended Panola College. He married Pamela May on December 16, 1994 in Texarkana, Arkansas. Mr. Jeter lived most of his life in Panola County and was a member of Faith Temple CHSC. He was preceded in death by one son, Kamario Jeter.

Mr. Jeter is survived by his wife Pamela Jeter of Holland Quarters; his father, Herman Jeter and companion Boydie of Lake Murvaul; his mother, Lorene Odom and husband Leatrice of Carthage; three sons, Kenshannon Jeter, Kawan Jeter and wife LaToyia, and Jason Lee all of Carthage; three daughters, Peta May, Kammela Lee, and LaKeadra Jeter all of Carthage; three brothers, Jerry Jeter and wife Mattie of Carthage, Lee Edward Jeter of Oakland, CA, and Herman Ray Jeter of Killeen, TX; nine sisters, Delorise Wall and husband Carlton of Carthage, Alice Grant of Carthage, Ella Louise Adams and husband "Dump" of Beckville, Kathrine Duson of Longview, Shirley Murphy and husband Vincent of Carthage, Patricia Alonzo and husband Tony of Ponder, TX, Brenda Willie of Carthage, Debra Harris of Houston, and Sharonica Smith of Carthage; and six grandchildren. Numerous nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts, cousins, other relatives, and many friends also survive Mr. Jeter.
