Kendrick Henderson, age 34, of Carthage, Texas, passed away on Saturday night, February 7, 2026, in a Tyler, Texas hospital. Kendrick Cornelius Henderson, affectionately known to family and friends as “Bingo,” was born on November 25, 1991, in Henderson, Texas, to Kemmy Corneal and Priscilla Pipkins Henderson.
Kendrick graduated from Carthage High School with the Class of 2010, where he proudly lettered in football, track, and powerlifting. He continued his education at Northwestern State University, where he played football and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice. He later attended Panola College, earning an Associate’s degree in Petroleum Technology, and was employed by SPL as a field technician.
On November 12, 2016, Kendrick married the love of his life, Crystal Nicole Lister, in Carthage. A devoted husband and father, Kendrick cherished time spent with his family, especially his sons. He had a deep passion for youth sports and generously gave his time coaching football and baseball, positively impacting the lives of countless young boys in the community.
Kendrick lived his entire life in Carthage. He grew up attending Pleasant Valley Baptist Church, where he was a member, and more recently attended New Life Fellowship.
He was preceded in death and welcomed into heaven by his infant twin daughters, Hope and Faith.
Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Crystal Henderson; twin sons, Karson and Karter Henderson; his parents, Kemmy and Priscilla Henderson; his great-grandmother, Mable Pipkin; his brother, Kedrick Henderson; along with a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives, and many dear friends.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 14, 2026, at Faith Assembly of God Church, 1501 W. Sabine Street, Carthage, Texas, with Rev. Elzie Hicks officiating, under the direction of Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Odd Fellows Cemetery. A viewing will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home.
