A memorial service for Kelly Townsend Ferguson, 52, of Dallas, will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, July 12, 2014, at Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Leah Hanks officiating and assisted By Rev. Keefe Cropper. Mrs. Ferguson passed away on Monday, July 7, 2014, in Dallas.
Kelly Jo Townsend Ferguson was born on April 16, 1962, in Beaumont to Clifford Carson and Margaret Jean Morris Townsend. She was preceded in death by her son, Randal Allen Watts of Nacogdoches, TX and his father, Glen Allen Watts of Silsbee, TX.
Kelly was a 1992 graduate of Panola Nursing College and lived most of her adult years in Nacogdoches, TX. Kelly was a member of Bonita United Methodist Church and enjoyed anything to do with the arts, particularly music and film. A treasured daughter, sister, mother and friend, Kelly was loved deeply and will be missed wholly by all who knew her.
Kelly is survived by her parents, Cliff Townsend and wife Sheryl of Carthage and Margaret Thibert of Ft. Worth; one daughter, Brittany Anne Ferguson of Dallas; five sisters, Heather Thomas and husband Doug of Goldsboro, NC and Erin Frewin and husband Greg of Frisco, Kelley Hill and husband Tony of Perryton, Tracey Boniol of Glenmora, LA, and Jodi Wilson and husband Dan of Eastland. She is also survived by uncles and aunts, Joe and Sue Morris of Huxley, Robert and Joann Townsend of Pollok, Daniel and Camille Townsend of Huntington, along with numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
