Kedrick Tramaine Parker, 34 of Beckville, passed away on Wednesday morning, June 20, 2018, near Beckville due to injuries sustained in an automobile accident. He was born on Nov. 22, 1983, in Marshall to Willie Earl Cartwright and Paula Denise Parker. Kedrick accepted Christ in his life at an early age and attended Mt. Zion CME in Carthage. He later attended Traveler's Rest Baptist Church in Longstreet, Louisiana under the leadership of Pastor Joseph Pipkins, Jr. with his wife and children. He provided for his family by working many years in the oil field. He was a dedicated husband and very loving father. Kedrick was preceded in death by his great-grandmother, Effie Mitchell; grandfather, Sam Anderson "Bob" Parker; uncle, Romeo Parker; uncle, Curtis Moore; and special friend/cousin, Sidney "JR" Allen, Jr.
Left to cherish his memories are his loving wife, Delisha Parker of Beckville, 4 beautiful daughters, Shamonda Parker, Taniree Parker, Keadrah Parker and Parrish Parker all of Beckville; his mother, Paula Parker of Carthage; his father, Willie Earl Cartwright and loving step-mother, Chandra Fountain of Longview; 5 sisters, Lakesha Jones, Vailere Cartwright, Cassondra Pope, Tristian Hubbert, and Nikitha Pope all of Dallas; brothers, Quantarius Parker and Tyrone Jeter; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, June 30, 2018, at Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Joseph Pipkins, Jr. officiating. Interment will follow in Holland Quarter's Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers are Quantarius Parker, Willie Earl Cartwright, Khedrick Smith, Desmun Pellum, Bryant Bryant, and Sammy McMillan, II.
Honorary pallbearers are Nelson Wall, Vershaun Moore, DeMarcus Moore, Davion Wright, John W. McMillan, II, Romeo LaKeith Parker, Octavious Parker, Damien Manier, Jonathan Dews, Sammy McMillan, and Trent Renfro.
Delisha requests that dress attire be formal and that you come to the services in peace or not at all.
