A memorial service for Mrs. Kay E. Churchill, age 73 of Timpson, Texas, will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 31, 2008 at Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Arnold Shrewsbury officiating. Mrs. Churchill passed away on Tuesday morning, May 27, 2008 in Carthage.
Kay Ellen Guilbault Churchill was born on July 2, 1934 in Pontiac, Michigan to Brockway and Clara Marie Phillips Guilbault. She graduated from St. Michael's Catholic High School in Pontiac with the class of 1953. She married Carl Alfred Churchill on August 31, 1955. Mrs. Churchill was a member of the St. Michael's Catholic Church. She had lived in the Carthage area since 1998 moving here from Pontiac. She loved and cherished her family dearly. Mrs. Churchill was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, who passed away on January 8, 1977.
Mrs. Churchill is survived by two daughters, Karen Kay Patton and husband Frank of Timpson and Sherry Ann Haskins of Clarkston, Michigan; four grandchildren, David James Dziesinski, Jr. and wife Angela of Gary, Destiny Lynne Conrad and husband Matt of Alamogordo, New Mexico, Kari Alyssa Booten and husband Adam of Carthage, and Casey Taylor Patton of Timpson; four great-grandchildren, Lindsey Nichole Dziesinski, Aidan Blaze Conrad, Kaylee Zella Conrad, and Dagon Gabriel Booten; and lifelong friends, Grace Larrison and family and Mary Lou Whitlow.
