Katheen Oliver-Elliott, 97, of Carthage, Texas, passed away on Wednesday night, June 21, 2023, in Carthage. She was born on January 17, 1926, to the late Floyd D. and Kitty Lay Cooper. Mrs. Oliver-Elliott married Joe Elliott on August 20, 2005, and he preceded her in death on February 24, 2019. Kathleen loved her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren dearly. She was a member of the Mt. Zion Methodist Church. Mrs. Oliver-Elliott was also preceded in death by 12 siblings.

She is survived by her son, Gary Saine and wife Brenda of DeBerry; four grandchildren; and numerous great and great-great-grandchildren.

Cremation arrangements are by Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home. Her ashes will be interred at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery in Annville, Pennsylvania.
