A funeral service for Mrs. June Ellen Holland, 90, of the Del Ray Community in Panola County, TX, will be held at 4 p.m. on Sunday, June 7, 2015, at Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home Chapel with her sons, Steve, Tim, and Terry Holland officiating. Interment will follow in Walton Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home.

June Ellen Pierce Holland entered into the presence of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Friday afternoon, June 5, 2015, at her home in Del Ray. She was born in the Del Ray Community on July 31, 1924, to the late John and Lois Lawrence Pierce. She graduated from Carthage High School with the class of 1942, and later that same year, on Nov. 28th, married the love of her life, Leland Holland. They were together for 66 years, until his death in 2008. Together they raised three sons, Steve and wife Cindy of Carthage, Tim and wife Sue of Shreveport, and Terry and wife Debbie Jo of Carthage.

She is survived by her three sons, as well as six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

June is now reunited with her parents, her husband, her sister, Gwen, and her niece, Joy.

Serving as pallbearers are Mrs. Holland's grandchildren.
