Judy Stone, 75, of Carthage, TX, passed away on Sunday morning, Feb. 23, 2020, in Carthage. Judith Ann Martine was born on Oct. 6, 1944, in Evansville, IN to Roger Mack and Nina Rebecca Shelton Martine. She graduated from North High School in Evansville with the class of 1962. Judy was a homemaker and a business owner for many years. She enjoyed painting, crochet, cooking, gardening, and music. Judy was a wonderful wife, mother, and friend to everyone and enjoyed serving others. She was a member of the Red Hat Society in Carthage. She loved the Lord with all her heart and was a faithful member of Southside Baptist Church in Carthage. Judy was preceded in death by her mother and sister, Jeanne Kay Ritz.

She is survived by her father, Roger Martine of Safety Harbor, FL; sister, Dorothy Jo Davis of Palm Harbor, FL; children, Nina Rogers-Morgan and husband Rodney of Carthage, Daniel Maglaris and wife Sandi of White Oak, James Maglaris and wife Tami of Pace, FL, and Roger Maglaris and girlfriend Sara Fuentes of Marshall; grandchildren, Zackary Rogers, Patrick Maglaris, Kaylen Maglaris, Raymond Maglaris, Hope Bailey, Macie Maglaris-Rhodes, and Jordan Maglaris; and 7 great-grandchildren. Numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and many friends also survive.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 29, 2020, at Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Kirby Hill and Rev. James Runnels officiating. The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home.
