Judy Ann Moore, 77, of Carthage, Texas, and formerly of Houston, passed away on Wednesday morning, December 10, 2025, in Carthage. She was born on June 12, 1948, in Houston to the late Michael Francis and Laura Munoz Heaton. On July 2, 1992, Judy married the love of her life, Douglas Clark Moore, in Houston. She spent her career in the restaurant industry, where she worked as a waitress, bartender, and manager. Judy was an avid reader who found joy in a good book, and she loved the simple pleasure of shopping.

Judy was preceded in death by her parents and by her sister, Mary Forbes.

Those left to cherish her memory include her devoted husband, Doug; her son, Clint Matthews; her brother, Michael Heaton; and her sister, Patty McGiver and husband Billy.

Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home.
