Juan Carlos Sanchez, 47, of the Oak Hill Community in Rusk County, TX, passed away on Tuesday afternoon, February 22, 2022, in Longview, Texas.  He was born in Chihuahua, Chihuahua, Mexico on October 22, 1974, to Rito and Victar Yanez Sanchez. Juan graduated from Tatum High School with the class of 1993, and later attended Kilgore College. He married Shannon Nell Wilson on May 4, 1996, at St. Mary Catholic Church in Longview. Juan was an equipment operator at Sabine Mining Company and also owned and operated JCS Excavation.  He enjoyed working, playing video games, and most of all, spending time with his family. He was preceded in death by his mother, Victar Sanchez; brother, Jose Sanchez; and daughter, Angel Sanchez.

Juan is survived by his wife, Shannon Sanchez; father, Rito Sanchez; daughter, Julia Casey and husband Jacob; granddaughter, Gianna Casey; siblings, Jesus Sanchez and wife Rosa, Sandra Hernandez and husband Jaime, Minerva Zarazua and husband Sergio, Rito Sanchez and wife Maria, Norma Sanchez, and Isela Sanchez; in-laws, Gary and Tammy Chambers and Howard and Pam Wilson; brother-in-law, Stephen Jaronitzky and wife Tiphanie; and best friend and brother, Roberto Duran and wife Yolanda.  He is also survived by numerous uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many friends.

A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, February 26, 2022, at Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Gary Chambers officiating. Interment will follow at Tatum Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 9-10 a.m. prior to the funeral service on Saturday.

Pallbearers will be Stephen Jaronitzky, Jacob Casey, Rito Sanchez, Roberto Duran, Jose Sanchez, Christian Carrillo, Sonny Harnandez, and Gerardo Diaz.
