A funeral service for Joshua Andrus, age 25, of Beckville, will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 17, 2015, at Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Rodger Cole officiating. Interment will follow in Antioch Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home. Joshua passed away due to injuries sustained in an automobile accident on Wednesday afternoon, Aug. 12, 2015, in Panola County.

Joshua Paul Andrus was born on January 30, 1990 in Houston, Texas to Milton and Gena Elder Andrus. Joshua went to be with the Lord on August 12, 2015. Joshua graduated with the class of 2009 from Kountze High School. He was a member of the King's Regiment Band. He worked as a meat cutter at HEB for the past five years. He was preceded in death by his baby girl, Mikinzey Paige Andrus; aunt, Tina Elder; and two grandfathers, Larry Elder and Milton Andrus, Jr.

Joshua is survived by his wife, Ashley Evans; his parents, Milton and Gena Andrus; his mother and father in-law Woody Pardo and Dedra Davis; mother and father in-law, Royce and Jennifer Evans; grandparents, Joe and Paula Spradley, and Judy Elder; his best friend and cousin Cody Mullican; sister, Rebeka Andrus; 3 sister in-laws, Tasha and Amber Davis and Breanna Evans; 1 brother in-law, RJ Evans; Aunts Sissy and Carrie; Uncle Greg; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Pallbearers will be Greg Spradley, Demontrae Porter, Willie Hollon, Robert Folgate, Justin Parker, and Markus Harber.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Cody Mullican and Danny Hocutt.
