Joseph Lynn Harris, 66, of the Old Center Community in Panola County, Texas, passed away on Friday evening, August 5, 2022. He was born on February 28, 1956, in Houston, Texas to the late Joseph Lehman and Naomi Geraldine Clark Harris. He graduated from Sam Houston High School in Houston with the class of 1974. Mr. Harris completed engineering school at the Fluor Corporation where he worked for over 35 years. He was of the Christian faith. Mr. Harris enjoyed restoring and working on cars, riding his motorcycle, traveling with his job, being on his land, and in the outdoors. He was preceded in death by his biological and adoptive parents; brother, David Harris; and half-brother, Jim Hoagg.

He is survived by his daughter, Moriah Thelen and husband Brendon; son, Ariel Harris and fiancé Jazmine Jackson; sister, Gail Frost and husband Don; brother, Allen Harris and wife Juli; and grandchildren, Braedyn, Addyson, and Madalyn Thelen.

Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home.
