Obituary
Funeral services for Mr. Jonathan "Bob" Coley Fields, age 27, of Carthage, TX, will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, March 29, 2010, at Northside Christian Center in Carthage with Pastor Aaron Bequette and Pastor Mike Fields officiating under the direction of Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home. A graveside service will follow at 5 p.m. at Peach Creek Cemetery near College Station, TX. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home. Mr. Fields passed away on Thursday morning, March 25, 2010, near Beckville, TX.
Jonathan "Bob" Coley Fields was born on Jan. 23, 1983, in Joplin, MO to Jerry Michael and Barbara Diane Coley Fields. He married Courtney Marie Crenshaw on Aug. 2, 2003, in College Station. Mr. Fields worked for Tommy Holmes Cabinet Shop. He had lived in Carthage for the past five years, moving from Shawnee, OK. Mr. Fields was a member of Northside Christian Center in Carthage, where he worked with the youth. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Grover James Coley.
Mr. Fields is survived by his wife, Courtney Fields of Carthage; three children, Jerry Ezekiel Josiah Fields, EmmaLeigh Rebekah Fields, and Bethen Marie Fields; parents, Mike and Diane Fields of Muldrow, OK; two sisters, Carrie Michelle Williams and husband Jonathan of Cypress, TX and Tabitha Diane Oakes and husband Brent of Durant, OK; maternal grandmother, Levita Coley of Tulsa, OK; paternal grandparents, Jerry and Dorlene Fields of Springfield, MO; two nieces, Kiersten Leigh Oakes and Aubrey Paige Oakes; two nephews, Jonathan Michael Williams and Jalyn Asher Williams; mother-in-law, Kim Crenshaw of Richardson, TX; brother-in-law, Cody Crenshaw and wife Heather of Richardson; and grandmother-in-law, RoseMarie Coyle of Dallas.
Serving as pallbearers are Shay Wiggins, Kyle Mosier, Cody Crenshaw, Dakota Rogers, Jonathan Williams, and Brent Oakes.
Serving as an honorary pallbearer is Mike "Merch" Merchant.
