A graveside service for Mr. Johnny David Gatlin, 69, of Gary, Texas, formerly of Andrews, Texas, will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday Decmber 2, 2013, at Andrews West Cemetery in Andrews under the direction of McNett Funeral Home. David passed away at 7:15 on Wednesday morning, Nov. 27, 2013, at his residence at Gary, Texas.

Johnny David Gatlin was born January 11, 1944 in Snyder, Texas to Frank and Edwina Gatlin. The first eight years of his life was spent with the family following the drilling rigs all over Eastern New Mexico and West Texas. David work in the oilfield for many years and spent fifteen years working in Africa. He was a long-time resident of Andrews. He was preceded in death by his parents and youngest brother, Gary D. Gatlin.

He survived by his oldest brother, John Wayne Gatlin of Gary, Texas; two daughters, Leann Cox and husband John of Pearland, Texas and Hanna Aoudi of Dallas, Texas; one son, David (Jack) Gatlin of Gary; four grandchildren; and three great- grandchildren.
