Johnnie Faye Rowe, 87, of Longview, TX, passed away on Friday night, June 28, 2019, in Longview. Johnnie Faye Atkerson was born on June 19, 1932, in Fulton, Arkansas to the late John Baptist and Cora Anderson Atkerson. She married William Thomas Rowe in 1946, after he came home from WWII, and he preceded her in death on Oct. 7, 1994. Mrs. Rowe worked in retail as a manager for Vandekamp Bakeries until her retirement. She lived in Louisiana, California, Carthage, TX and for the past 20 years, in Longview. Mrs. Rowe was of the Church of Christ faith.

Survivors include her daughters, Fran Halstead and Billie Szydlo-Allwhite both of Longview; brother, Charles Atkerson and wife Hester of Hot Springs; sister, Pat Fudge and husband Frank of Tennessee; grandchildren, Garred Austin, Amber Baker, Nathan Szydlo, and Will Halstead; and great-grandchildren, Aspen Baker, Hope Austin, and Faith Austin.

A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, July 1, 2019, at Snell Cemetery in Emmet, Arkansas with Kenneth Fulfer officiating under the direction of Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home.
