Joe Davis, 69, of Carthage, Texas, passed away Monday, August 21, 2023, at his home in Carthage.  Joe Martin Davis was born on January 1, 1954, in Shreveport, Louisiana to Alexandria Bennett "Buster" and Ethel Mae Palmer Davis. He graduated from McGhee High School in Arkansas with the class of 1971, and attended the University of Arkansas at Monticello, where he earned a bachelor's degree. Joe was an agency manager in the insurance industry. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Joe is survived by his son, Martin Mosley Davis; brother, Mike Davis and wife Susan; nephews; Michael Davis and wife Missy, and Preston Davis and wife Tiffany; great-nephews, Trey, Justin, Tate, and Brady Davis; and great-niece, Presley Davis.

Cremation arrangements are by Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home.
