Jo Westmoreland, 89, of Texarkana, TX, formerly of Carthage, TX passed away at home in Texarkana. Mrs. Westmoreland was born August 2, 1928 in Strong, AR. She was a member of Williams Memorial United Methodist Church. While living in Carthage, she was an active member of the First United Methodist Church and a former member of the Carthage Book Club.

Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Frances Keasler and her husband, Don Keasler of Texarkana; son, Bill Westmoreland of New York; grandchildren, Dr. Susan Portis Ferguson and husband, Michael and Jane Portis; great grandchildren, Laura Davis, Walter Ferguson and Cora Ferguson; and 5 nephews

Memorial Service will be held at a later date. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of East Funeral Home – Moores Lane.
