A memorial visitation for Mr. Jimmy Dewayne Tullis, age 47 of Galveston, TX formerly of Carthage, TX, will be held from 10 a.m. until 12 noon on Saturday, May 25, 2013, at Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home. A private inurnment will be held at a later date. Mr. Tullis passed away on Saturday, May 18, 2013, in Galveston.

Jimmy Dwayne Tullis was born on Oct. 22, 1965, in Rusk, TX to Robert Carol and Linda Self Tullis. He graduated from Carthage High School with the class of 1985. He worked for Western Auto, Creel's Dish Satellite, Pippen Motor Co. in Carthage as Service Manager, Bill Wilson GMC in Kilgore as Service Manager, and as a salesman at Durham Dodge Motors in Kilgore. Jimmy was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Carthage. He moved to Galveston five years ago from Carthage. Mr. Tullis was preceded in death by his father.

Mr. Tullis is survived by his mother, Linda Faye Gillman and husband F.H. "Buddy" Gillman of Carthage; two daughters, Kacie Tullis White and husband Jeffrey of Carthage and Lacie Tullis of Carthage; one brother, Bobby Tullis and wife Ursula of Beckville; two half-brothers, Tim Gillman and wife Amy of Longview and Randy Tullis and wife Karen of Henderson; one granddaughter, Laramie LaGrone of Carthage; and one grandson on the way, Kaden White. Numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many friends also survive Mr. Tullis.
