Jimmy Ray Collier, Jr ., 44, of DeBerry, Texas, passed away on Wednesday, November 22, 2017, at his home in DeBerry. He was born on December 9, 1972, in Carthage, Texas to Jimmy Ray Collier, Sr. and Gloria Dean Jones Collier. Mr. Collier graduated from Carthage High School with the class of 1990. He worked as a security guard at Wiley College in Marshall for many years. He loved watching and playing football.

He is survived by his parents, Gloria and Jimmy Collier and sisters, Jocelyn Renae Jennings and husband Bruce and Rhonda Kay Collier all of DeBerry.

A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, November 27, 2017, at Centennial Cemetery in DeBerry with Elder Von Eric McKee officiating under the direction of Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home.
