Estelle Haden, 99, of the Rock Hill Community, in Panola County, TX, passed away on Wednesday morning, Feb. 28, 2018, in Henderson. Jewel Estelle Haden was born on Sept. 5, 1918, in the Grand Bluff Community to the late Herman Hoyt and Annie Lou Majors Haden. She attended Marshall Schools while growing up. Estelle moved back to Panola County in 2006, from Harleton and was a member of the Rock Hill United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; and siblings Alton Haden, Harvey Haden, Nancy Annette Longino, William H. Haden, and Sally Haden Murray.

Survivors include step-son, Jimmy Luby and many nieces and nephews, including Steven Longino, Jimmy Stephens, Lou Anne Stephens Morton, Danny Stephens, Lisa Haden Pepper, Melynda Haden-Combs, Wendy Haden McCreary, William Haden, Ben Haden, Dorothy Sledge, and Barbara Maxwell.

The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff and nurses of Heart's Way Hospice and Mrs. Haden's sitter, Natalie Cole, for the loving care shown to Estelle during her illness.

A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, March 3, 2018, at Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. J.B. Morris officiating. Interment will follow in Rock Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1-2 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers are William Haden, Steven Longino, Danny Stephens, Jimmy Stephens, Ben Haden, and Charles Morton.
