Jerry Foster, 72, of Beckville, TX, passed away on Monday night, March 25, 2019. Jerry Wayne Foster was born on Jan. 16, 1947, in Harrisburg, Ark. to the late Eldridge and Martha Frances McClellan Foster. He married Kathy Diane Conner on Nov. 25, 1970, in Muncie, IN. In 1984, they moved to Beckville where Jerry worked as a foreman for Pierce Construction for many years before his retirement. He loved being outdoors, hunting and fishing, and gardening. Jerry was also preceded in death by a brother, Michael Foster and a grandchild, Conner Foster.

Survivors include his wife, Kathy of Beckville; sons, Greg Foster of Beckville, Brian "Shorty" Foster and wife Amy of Harleton, and Eric Foster and wife Danielle of Carthage; brothers, Eddie Foster and wife Cathy of Greer's Ferry, Ark. and Tim Foster and wife Tabatha of Greenville, MS; sisters, Nettie Nichols and husband Ted of Tyronza, Ark., Carolyn Fisher and husband Daniel of New Hebron, MS, Verna Maddox and husband Archie of Greenwood, Ark., Teresa Dale and husband William of Clinton, Ark., Debbye McMillon and husband Steve of Boyle, MS, Connie Phillips and husband Marty of Kosciusko, MS, and Maxine Nelson and husband Ronnie of Indianola, MS; grandchildren, Danyal, Krystal, Conner, Carley, Cadence, Preston, Dyonna, Ryan, Avery, Bailey, Diesel, Keylee, Carter; great-grandchildren, Zoey, Jesse, Evan, Maddie Kay, Xavier, Lillia, Kipton, and Maverick.

A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, March 29, 2019, at Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home Chapel with Tim Foster officiating. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.
