Jerry Lee Allison, age 58, of Carthage, Texas, passed away on Wednesday morning, October 22, 2025, in Tyler, Texas. He was born on June 24, 1967, in Rusk County, Texas. Jerry graduated from Carthage High School where he lettered in football. Jerry worked for the City of Longview for many years. He enjoyed fishing and watching football, especially the Dallas Cowboys. Jerry was preceded in death by his mother, Dorothy Allison and his grandparents, Elijah and Essie Allison.

He is survived by his siblings, Marsha Taylor, Ezar Barnes (Crystal), Tameshia Barnes, Jason Allison (Trinette), and Granson Allison. Numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and a host of friends also survive Mr. Allison.

A visitation and viewing will be held from 5-7 p.m. on Tuesday, October 28, 2025, at Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home Chapel.
