Jeraldine Kincheloe, 83, formerly of Carthage, TX, passed away on Tuesday night, Sept. 7, 2021, in Tyler, TX. Oletha Jeraldine Smith was born on Oct. 2, 1937, in Comanche, TX to the late William Ory and Ottie Lorene Parkman Smith. She married James V. Kincheloe on May 28, 1955, in Lubbock, TX and he preceded her in death on Dec. 6, 1998. Mrs. Kincheloe was of the Church of Christ faith. She was also preceded in death by a son, Ronald James Kincheloe and brothers, Paul, Kenneth, and Charles Smith.

She is survived by her children, Rodney Allen Kincheloe of Carthage, Linda Sheryl Harris and husband John of Palestine, and Sandra Lee Welch and husband Joe of Johnson City; brother, Vernon Smith of May; sister, Genetha Andrews of Comanche; daughter-in-law, Stephanie Kincheloe; grandchildren, Lynn Allen Kincheloe, Stephanie Harris, Michael J. Welch, Hazel Welch, Joshua Steven Kincheloe, and Sophia Grace Kincheloe; and great-grandchild, Monica Miley.

A graveside service will be held at 3 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 10, 2021, at Restland Memorial Park with Rev. Ken Stone officiating under the direction of Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at 2 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home prior to the graveside service.
