Jason Heath Dixon, 48, of Gary, TX, passed away on Tuesday afternoon, May 25, 2021, in Tyler, TX. He was born on Aug. 8, 1972, in Longview, TX to the late Franklin K. and Karen Watts Dixon. Jason graduated from Beckville High School with the class of 1990. He worked as a welder with Pipeline Union #798. Jason married Cortney Jean Weimer on July 10, 2020, in Marshall, TX. He loved the outdoors, hunting and fishing, and spending time with his family. Jason lived his lifetime in Panola County and attended Bar None Cowboy Church. He was also preceded in death by a son, Kristin James Dixon.

He is survived by his mother, Janice Dixon; wife, Cortney Dixon; children, Destyn Dixon Copeland and husband Chris, Britnie K. Dixon, Jase Alton Dixon, Keri Dawn Dixon, Landon Heath Dixon, Mason Keith Dixon, Kason Von Dixon, and twin girls on the way; brother, Landon Dixon and wife Gigi; maternal grandparents, Jeanie Delacerda and Frankie D. Watts; grandchildren, Cason Copeland, Jaxx Barber, and Peightyn Lynn Peterson; niece and nephew, Cade and Taylor Dixon; and numerous uncles, aunts, cousins, other relatives and friends.

A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, May 29, 2021, at Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Gary Chambers officiating. Interment will follow in Langley Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers are Destyn Dixon Copeland, Britnie K. Dixon, Jase Alton Dixon, Keri Dawn Dixon, Landon Heath Dixon, Landon Dixon, Cade Dixon, and Dakota Jones. Honorary pallbearers are Norman Curry, Tyson Penning, Devin Courtney, Danny Kirkland, Scott Baker, and Kristi Marie.
