A funeral service for Mrs. Janice Sue Wilkerson, 63, of Carthage will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, Dec. 29, 2014, at Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Bob Scott officiating. Interment will follow in Deadwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. on Sunday at Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home. Mrs. Wilkerson passed away on Friday afternoon, Dec. 26, 2014, in Carthage.

Janice Sue Anderson Wilkerson was born on March 24, 1951, in Panola County to the late Brook Conrad "Dick" Anderson and Kascille Minter Anderson. She married Randall Ray Wilkerson on May 4, 1973, in Carthage. Janice enjoyed the outdoors in the Hills Lake Bottom and especially spending time with her grandchildren. She had lived her lifetime in Carthage and was a member of Liberty Chapel Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, Janice was also preceded in death by one sister, Dixie Jane Anderson.

Mrs. Wilkerson is survived by her husband, Randall Wilkerson of Carthage; two sons, Randy D. Wilkerson and wife Jena of Carthage and Darren Wilkerson and wife Veronica of Tatum; two brothers, Jerry Conrad Anderson and wife Peggy and Richard Wayne Anderson and wife Kathy all of Carthage; sister Deborah Kay Reeves and husband Glen of Carthage; uncle, Jeff Minter of Canada; aunt, Margie Ray of Shady Grove; and three grandchildren, Abby, Justin, and Avery Wilkerson. Numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many friends also survive Mrs. Wilkerson.

Pallbearers will be Jerry Wayne Anderson, David Reeves, Kenneth Stephens, Ralph Jolley, Clay Cox, Bill Farmer, Blayne Anderson, and Beau Watts.

Honorary pallbearers will be Chris Morris, David Boggs, and William Jolley.
