Funeral services for Mrs. Janette "Cody" Collins Siler will be held at 3 p.m. on Sunday, June 13, 2010, at Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Mark Williamson officiating. Interment will follow in Oddfellows Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1-3 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home prior to the service. Mrs. Siler passed away on Wed., June 9, 2010, in Carthage.

Mrs. Siler was born on Aug. 27, 1950, in DeQueen, Arkansas to Earnest Buell and Juanita Faye Oglesby Collins. She graduated from Carthage High School with the class of 1968, and attended Panola College where she received her Associates Degree in Business in 1970. Mrs. Siler retired from AT&T after 16 years, where she worked as a line technician. She later attended UT Tyler where she earned her pharmaceutical technician certificate. She enjoyed her family, loved spending time with her grandchildren, was very giving, and had a big heart. She was preceded in death by her father.

Mrs. Siler is survived by her mother, Juanita Soape and husband Cotton of Carthage; one daughter, Chelsey Lawhorn and husband Clint of Carthage; four sisters, Margaret Ruso and husband John of the Galloway Community, Myrita Kruebbe and husband Jimmy of the Antioch Community, Vicki Collins and Brian Muffler of Carthage, and Kim Davis and husband Daniel of the Antioch Community; and two grandsons, Rodie and Colt Lawhorn. Numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and many friends also survive Mrs. Siler.

Serving as pallbearers are John Ruso, Jimmy Kruebbe, Daniel Davis, Dustin Ruso, Ryan Kruebbe, and Kellan Davis.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to help with funeral expenses to the First State Bank and Trust Co., 110 W. Panola, Carthage, TX 75633.
