James Eric Lassiter, 70, of Texarkana, Texas formerly of Beckville, Texas, passed away on Monday morning, December 9, 2019, in Texarkana. He was born on April 10, 1949, in Wilmington, Delaware to the late James Turnley and Margaret Josephine Hayman Lassiter. James was always jovial, happy, and smiling. He would light up the room anytime he was around.

Mr. Lassiter is survived by his sister, Melissa Kunkle and husband Roger of Magnolia, Texas.

Cremation arrangements are by Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home.
