James Eugene Kincaid, 60, of Carthage, TX, passed away on Friday afternoon, May 22, 2020, in Carthage. Mr. Kincaid was born on Feb. 26, 1960, in Pueblo, CO. He was of the Pentecostal faith and former owner of Dream Transportation.  J.J. was a long-haul driver and when he wasn't working, he was spending time with his many grandchildren.  In his semi-retirement, he traveled to see family and wanted to achieve the dream he had with his wife Lisa of traveling for fun rather than work.  He was preceded in death by his wife Lisa; 2 grandchildren; brothers, Stanley Hamilton and Glen Dale Hunter; and his mother, Audrie Hamilton

Survivors include his daughters, Mariah Shellhammer and Willow Jackson; sons, Anthony Larkin, Joed Weyand, Josh Davis and Stephen Marsh; brothers, Raymond Shepard, Leeroy Harger and Woody Kanmore; sisters, Loretta Kanmore Neumiller and Kelley Harger and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.

A visitation will be held from 5 -7 p.m. on Saturday, May 30, 2020 at Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home.  Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home.

In this time of sorrow, it reminds us of the good memories we had.  Jimmy wanted his life to be celebrated rather than us mourn him going home.
