James Roger Huff, Sr., age 72, of the Grand Bluff Community, in Panola County, Texas, passed away on Sunday, November 19, 2023, at his home in Grand Bluff. He was born on August 12, 1951, in Carthage, Texas to the late James Joshua and Nellie Faye Rogers Huff. He graduated from high school in Ft. Worth, Texas. Mr. Huff married Penny Lynn Mills and she preceded him in death on July 11, 2004. He worked for many years as a maintenance supervisor with Food Fast in Tyler, Texas until his retirement. Mr. Huff was of the Baptist faith and was a member of Cedar Grove Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; and his brother, Christopher Robert Huff.

He is survived by his son, J.R. Huff.

Cremation arrangments are under the direction of Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home.
