Graveside services for James Richard "Dick" Kunz, age 74 of Highland Village, Texas, will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 24, 2008 at Odd Fellows Cemetery in Carthage. Mr. Kunz passed away Friday, June 20, 2008, in Lewisville, Texas. Local arrangements are under the direction of Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home.

James Richard "Dick" Kunz was born on May 11, 1934 in Memphis, Tennessee to Louis Henry Kunz and Willie Belle Gross Kunz. Dick served his country in the United States Navy. He married Jo McKellar on December 4, 1965 in Dallas and worked as a pilot for Continental Airlines.

Mr. Kunz is survived by his wife, Jo McKellar Kunz; one sister, Cheryl Ledford of Charlotte, North Carolina; four nieces, Kristina Snow, Jill Smith, Marian Foley, and Suzy Baker; and a nephew, Monty McKellar.
