Funeral services for Mrs. Jacquelyn "Jackie" Irene Hayslip-Courtney, age 43 of Beckville will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, August 17, 2006 at Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jackie Harris officiating. A memorial services will be held at Brown Funeral Home and Cremation Service. Inurnment will follow in Mission Hills Memorial Garden in Niles, Michigan. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday evening at the funeral home. Jackie passed away on Sunday, August 13, 2006.

She was born in Berrien Springs, Michigan on February 22, 1963. She was the daughter of Franklin Augustus and Sylvia Irene Williams Hayslip. Jackie was a wonderful homemaker and had lived in Beckville for nine years, moving here from Niles, Michigan. She attended Pine Grove Assembly of God Church in Beckville. She graduated from Brandywine High School in Niles, Michigan.

Jackie is survived by her husband, Kevin Courtney of Beckville; son Brad Hayslip of South Bend, Indiana; six brothers; Robert of South Bend, Indiana, Michael of Niles, Michigan, Leroy, Joe and Jason all of Michigan; seven sisters, Frankie and Silvia of Niles, Michigan, Peggy and Paula of Mishawaka, Indiana, Audrey, Kathy and Susie of Michigan; three grandchildren; Megan, Breana and Bradley and one on the way. Jackie's Beckville family are mother-in-law Sally Courtney; sisters-in-law Angela Owens, and Lisa Montes and husband Manuel; two nieces, Alana and Ashlyn; and a nephew Javier. She is preceded in death by her parents, Franklin Augustus and Sylvia Irene Williams Hayslip and by her father-in-law Billy Courtney.

Jackie's outgoing personality allowed her to have many friends who will miss her greatly.
