Graveside services for Mrs. Helen Baker Inman, age 92, of Carthage, TX, formerly of Wichita Falls, TX, will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, Apr. 19, 2012, at Oakwood Cemetery in Corsicana, TX with Rev. Dock Lazarine officiating under the direction of Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home. Mrs. Inman's body will lie in state from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. on Wednesday at Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home. Mrs. Inman passed away on Monday night, Apr. 16, 2012, in Carthage.
Helen Belle Boyles Baker Inman was born on Feb. 13, 1920, in Mumfort, TX, to Bethel Alan and Eva Medaris Boyles. Mrs. Inman graduated from Corsicana High School. She married George C. Baker and later Bob Inman and both preceded her in death. Mrs. Inman was a former member of the Order of the Eastern Star. She loved traveling and being with her friends. Mrs. Inman was a longtime and the oldest living member of the Westside Baptist Church in Wichita Falls, TX, joining the church in 1955. She was also preceded in death by her parents.
Mrs. Inman is survived by her daughter, Carol Dartez of Carthage; four grandchildren, Don Denny and wife Wendy of Lubbock, Kyle Dartez of Highlands, Kelly Dartez of Wichita Falls, and Kerri Beth Dartez of Carthage; former son-in-law, Mike Dartez of Carthage; and one great-grandchild, Dylan Denny of Lubbock.
