Hazel Mozelle Donald Curry, 92, of Beckville, passed away Friday afternoon, Jan. 6, 2017, in Carthage. She was born Sept. 23, 1924 in Panola County to the late Virge Donald and Lillus Keller Donald. She married John D. Curry, who preceded her in death in May of 1996. Mrs. Curry was a homemaker and spent most of her life in Panola County, Beckville area. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Beckville. Also preceding her in death are her sons, Jerry G. Curry on Feb. 27, 2002 and Troy James Curry and a daughter-in-law, Jean Curry.

Survivors include her son, Roy Curry and wife Abbie of Beckville; grandchildren, Kathy Allen and husband Tony of Oak Hill, Richie Curry and wife Hollie of Hallsville, Gary Curry of Beckville, and Terry Jay Curry of Beckville; 6 great-grandchildren; numerous great-great-grandchildren, step-grandchildren, and step-great-grandchildren; and caregiver and friend Rachel Martin and Gus of Beckville.

A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 9, 2017, at Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Kelly Brian officiating. Interment will follow at Langley Cemetery. A visitation will be held from 2-4 p.m. on Sunday at Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home.

Serving as her pallbearers are Roy Curry, Spencer Curry, Tony Robago, Richie Curry, Larry Curry and Michael Curry.
