Harvey Wolf, 21, of Velma, OK, formerly of Carthage, passed away on Friday night, Feb. 19, 2016, in Rock Springs, OK due to injuries sustained in an automobile accident. He was born on Sept. 20, 1994, in Fresno, CA to Jackie Darlene Wolf and Douglas Harvey Whitaker. Harvey attended Carthage High School where he participated in football and track. He enjoyed hog hunting and spending time with family and friends. Harvey was a member of the New Shady Grove Missionary Baptist Church where he was active in the youth program.

Survivors include his mother, Jackie Darlene Wolf; his father, Douglas Harvey Whitaker; brothers, Robert Wolf of The Colony, PFC Dennis Wolf of Schofield Barracks, Hawaii, Michael Wolf of Jefferson, and Steven Whitaker of Fresno, CA; sisters, Misty Wolf of Marshall and Donella Whitaker of Fresno; and his extended local family, Anissa, Bryan, Rope, Rider, and Savannah Pride and many loving people in the community that cared for him deeply.

A visitation will be held from 2:30-4:00 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 25, 2016, at Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home followed by a graveside service to be held at 4:30 p.m. at Adams Cemetery with Bro. Steven Hill officiating.

Pallbearers are Rope Pride, Rider Pride, Garrett Dearmond, Seth Ward, Adam Andrews, and Lucas Dearmond.

Honorary pallbearers are Peyton Leflett, Wade Grubbs, and Ethan Myers.
