Gordon Lewis Reynolds, Jr., 48, of Deadwood, TX, passed away Friday morning, Sept. 28, 2018, in Shreveport. He was born on March 25, 1970, in New Orleans, LA to Gordon Lewis Reynolds, Sr. and Ramona Ann Bott Reynolds. He graduated from Archbishop Shaw High School in Marrero, LA with the class of 1988, and attended LSU in Baton Rouge. Gordon served his country in the U.S. Army in Germany, Bosnia and Croatia for 8 years before being honorably discharged. While in the Army, he was trained as a radiology technician. He enjoyed playing soccer while in high school and was a big LSU Tiger and New Orleans Saints fan. Gordon moved to Deadwood in 2005 from New Orleans. He was a member of the St. William of Vercelli Catholic Church in Carthage and was also a 4 ^th degree member of the Knights of Columbus.

Left to cherish his memory are his parents, Gordon, Sr. and Ramona Reynolds of Deadwood; son, Dustin Lewis; brother, Ryan Reynolds and wife Sherri of Harvey, LA; sister, Shelley Reynolds of Gretna, LA; very special friend, Mary Gardner of Algiers Point, LA; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and many friends.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 2, 2018, at St. William Catholic Church with Father Steve Paradis officiating under the direction of Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home. A rosary will be recited at 10 a.m. with visitation to follow on Tuesday at St. William Catholic Church prior to the funeral mass. Interment will be in Northwest Louisiana Veterans Cemetery.

Pallbearers are Nicholas Bott, Charles Cabrero, Shane Crochet, John Templin, II, Jeffrey Newman, and James Edelen.
