Glen Hall, 57, of Carthage, passed away on Tuesday, April 4, 2017. Hugh Glen Hall was born on Aug. 26, 1959, in Carthage to the late Hugh Derron and Dixie June Weseman Hall. He graduated from Gary High School with the class of 1977. Glen married Brenda Arlene Parsons on July 7, 1989, in Carthage. He worked for the City of Carthage in the Water and Sewer Dept. for many years and later worked as a building contractor with his brothers, owning H&H construction in Carthage. Glen enjoyed deer hunting, fishing, and prided himself as being one of a few people that could tie a fishing net. He was a good man, an absolute gentleman, and was loved by all who knew him. Glen was a member of First Baptist Church in Carthage. He was preceded in death by his parents and his in-laws, Bob and Darlene Parsons.
Survivors include his loving wife, Brenda; children, Casie Darlene Tabanou and husband William of Los Angeles and Lisa dawn Hall Glidewell and husband Charles of New London, NH; brothers, James T. "Buddy" Hall and wife Debra of Gary and Johnny Hall and wife Bobbie of Carthage; sisters, Martha Ann Saucier and husband Jimmy of Leonville, LA, Carol Sue White and husband Tony of Bella Vista, Ark., and Brenda Kay Cranford of Carthage; and grandchildren, Zelda, Lucille, Kaitlin, Jonathan, and Jack; uncles, Bailey Hall of Houston and Delbert Cox of Bedford; and aunt, Charlene Weseman of Ozark, Ark. Numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and a host of friends also survive Glen.
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, April 9, 2017, at Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Allen Tilley officiating. Interment will follow in Gary Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers are LaMar Hall, Matthew Hall, Rusty Hall, Wayne Summers, Richard Wilson, and Kevin Guthrie.
Honorary pallbearers are David Boggs, George Taylor, David Bush, Shannon Twomey, Riley Boothe, Richard Ballenger, David Johnson, Jerry Hanszen, and Joe Allison.
