Geraldine Lynch Wilkerson, 85, of the Shiloh Community, passed away on Tuesday afternoon, Nov. 15, 2016, at her home in Shiloh surrounded by her loving family. She was born on Jan. 2, 1931, in Shreveport to the late Paul Travis and Edna Clara O'Neal Lynch. She graduated from Longstreet High School. Geraldine married Joe Lee Wilkerson on Sept. 23, 1950, in DeBerry and he preceded her in death on June 30, 2006, after 55 years of marriage. She moved from Shreveport to the Shiloh Community in 1963, and was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church and served as past-president of the Ladies Auxiliary. She loved children dearly, having kept and cared for many as her own throughout the years. Mrs. Wilkerson was also preceded in death by her sister, Minnie Lou Bagley.

Mrs. Wilkerson is survived by daughters, Jerry Anne Duke and husband Michael of Shiloh and Deborah Kaye Wilkerson of Shreveport; sister, Shirley Lambert of Shiloh; brother, Steve Lynch and wife Maxine of Grand Cane; grandchildren, Kevin Duke and wife Jennifer of Dallas and Kelley Mouch and husband Shane of Port Vincent, LA; and great-grandchildren, Kaleb, Camille, Collin, and Corinne.

A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 19, 2016, at Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home Chapel with Ricky Womack, Rev. Charles Hall, and Rev. Dean Register officiating. Interment will follow in Shiloh Baptist Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 Friday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers are Randall Wilkerson, Johnny Lindsly, Barry Wayne Bush, Tanner Lindsly, Brady Lindsly, Ramone Landeros, Matt Bagley, Zach Stevens, Clay Bagley, and Collin O'Brien.

Honorary pallbearers are Scott Lynch, Steven Lynch, Shane Mouch, Randy Wilkerson, Timmy Wilkerson, Darren Wilkerson, Kevin Duke, Barry Bagley, Butch Bagley, and Dale Pope.
