Gary Paul Voiselle, 61, of Carthage, TX, passed away on Monday morning, Dec. 2, 2013, in Longview, TX. He was born on Feb. 15, 1952, in Moreauville, LA to Edgar Joseph and Bernice Mary Jameson Voiselle. Mr. Voiselle attended Simmesport, LA schools growing up. He married Marion Lynn Cupp on Jan. 25, 1971, in Simmesport. Mr. Voiselle worked as an operator for Wild Blue Equipment. He loved fishing and gardening. Mr. Voiselle moved to Carthage in 1990, from Pineville, LA and was of the Catholic Faith. He was preceded in death by his father; one daughter, Jeanie Naomi Voiselle; and one brother, Bobby Brent Voiselle.

Mr. Voiselle is survived by his mother, Bernice Voiselle of Moreauville, LA; his wife Lynn Voiselle of Carthage; two daughters, Rebecca Morris and husband Robert of Panola and Desirea Smith of DeBerry; one brother, Edgar Joseph Voiselle, Jr. and wife Melinda of Dry Prong, LA; and eight grandchildren, Amanda Ware and husband Matt, Gary Lofton, Wesley Lofton and wife Christina, Jonathan Morris, Chris Morris, Bradlee Voiselle, Britney Smith, and Bailey Smith; and four great-grandchildren. Numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many friends also survive Mr. Voiselle.

The family will receive friends for a visitation from 6-8 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 5, 2013, at Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home. Service and cremation arrangements are under the direction of Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home.
