Gail Will, 75, of Beckville, Texas passed away June 1, 2023 at her home in Beckville. Sammie Gail Metcalf was born August 9, 1947 in Marshall, Texas to the late Ralph and Odessa Dupriest Metcalf. Gail was raised in Beckville and was a graduate of Beckville High School with the class of 1965. She married Bobby Lee Will on February 25, 1967 at Mt. Zion Baptist Church and together they celebrated 56 years. Gail was of the Baptist faith and a life-long member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church. She loved cooking, traveling, decorating, shopping and doing floral arrangements for the church. She most especially loved spending time with her grandchildren. Gail is preceded in death by her parents.

Gail is survived by her loving husband, Bobby Will; children, Terry Lee Will and Teresa Kim Hays and husband Russell; grandchildren, Alexander Murray and wife Sara, Hayley Elizabeth Will, Hannah Rose Malloy and husband Brendan, Harper Travis Will, Sarah Gail Harlin; and great grandchild, Gwendolyn Rose Murray. Numerous other relatives and friends also survive Mrs. Will.

Funeral services for Mrs. Will will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 4, 2023 at the Mt. Zion Baptist Church with Bro. Mike Powell and Mr. Keith Williams officiating. Interment will follow in the Harris Chapel Cemetery under the direction of Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 6-8:00 p.m. Saturday evening at the funeral home.

Pallbearers are Terry Will, Gary Morehead, Garrett Morehead, Greg Metcalf, Milton Benitez, Brendan Malloy, Patrick Harris, and Russell Hays.

Honorary pallbearers are the Deacons of Mt. Zion Baptist Church.
