Franky Lee Miller, 49, of Carthage, TX, passed away on Sunday morning, Oct. 31, 2021, at his home near Carthage. He was born on Sept. 3, 1972, in Magnolia, AR to Ted Michael Miller and Joyce Nell Kirkpatrick. Franky graduated from Carthage High School with the class of 1992, and attended barber school in Tyler. He worked for many years in Carthage as a barber. He would say his first occupation was a minister for God, and cutting hair was his second job. Franky married Mari Odell Rabon on July 3, 1993, at the home of Mike and Arlene Hartless in the Dotson Community. He loved hunting and fishing and enjoyed coaching youth baseball and softball. Franky was a member of Northside Christian Center in Carthage. He was preceded in death by his father, Ted Michael Miller and step-father, Bill "T-Boy" Giovanni.

He is survived by his wife, Mari Miller of Carthage; his mother, Joy Giovanni of Lumberton, MS; children, Courtlynd Miller Xu and husband Tommy of Allen and Christian Duncan Miller of Carthage; siblings, Micky Miller and wife Darlene of Poplarville, MS, Amber Allemang and husband Jimmy of Westlake, LA, Winter Brown and husband Charles of Slidell, LA, and Candice Ortiz and husband Alfonso of Overland Park, KS; step-mother, Belinda Miller of Overland Park; and step-grandmother, Lola Porter of Overland Park. Numerous uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many friends also survive Franky.

A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 6, 2021, at Still Waters Cowboy Church with Pastor Aaron Bequette, Marty Summers, and Charles Tieuel, Sr. officiating under the direction of Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Rabon Cemetery in Dotson. The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers are Jerry Wayne Anderson, Randy Wilkerson, Dan Mosier, Dustin Abernathy, Bryan McDaniel, and Jimmy Young.

Honorary pallbearers are Micky Miller, Morgan Rabon, Jr., Mathew Rabon, Tony Rabon, Johnathon Twomey, Jimmy Allemang, Lance Allemang, Timmy Allemang, Ricky Johnson, and Kyle Mosier.

The family extends a heartfelt thanks to Dr. Akpassa and Heartsway Hospice for the special care that was given.
